| The Hurricane was designed by the Hawker Aircraft Company in 1934 and entered service in 1937. It was faster than other RAF planes, and had more firepower with eight machine guns. About five-hundred Hurricanes at the start of WWII, and they played a major role protecting England during the "Battle of Britain". Toward the end of the war the Hurricane flew in Malta, North Africa, and the Far East. Be part of history and own this magnificent warbird. | |
